Please plan to attend the Cuda 411. This is a family informational meeting under the Pavilion at the Briargrove Pool including open swim for Cudas and siblings. New Registrants can join this evening and current registrations can be modified if needed. The Team President and Team Representative will explain volunteer roles, the calendar of meets and all the social activities for the quick May/June season. See the calendar for the date and time.
Practices are daily in May and June and regular attendance creates a ‘safe and strong’ swimmer. The season is short and in order to produce the best result each swimmer is encouraged to attend practice in their age group regularly. Coaches will work with swimmers to improve strokes, speed, and endurance.
Families must RSVP for each meet and can update RSVP’s as summer plans change. SWIMMERS MUST ARRIVE AT MEET LOCATIONS 1 HOUR PRIOR TO START OF MEET. Parents please provide transportation to and from meets for your swimmer. Swimmers MUST stay for any assigned relays if entered by their coaches.
As a volunteer run team all families each commit to (3) volunteer shifts for the season. Some shifts account for more credit than others, see descriptions during registration. The Team Rep is available to help you find shifts that work for your family schedule. If your schedule does not permit volunteering there is a volunteer exemption fee (see below).
